The Cocker Spaniel originates in England. They came to America in the 1800s, and have remained a beloved companion dog.  An affectionate, playful dog that gets along with pets and children. This breed is better behaved when active rather than when allowed to become bored.

The Cocker Spaniel has a thick, wavy, beautiful coat. This is part of their tremendous appeal and beauty.
