Overview
The TerriPoo is a small designer mixed dog combining an Australian Terrier and a Poodle. As with all hybrid dogs, the TerriPoo will vary in appearance and temperament. Size will be affected by the Poodle parent being a Toy or Miniature. Both breeds in this mix are very smart, so begin training early to maximize your pup's future potential. You will find the Terripoo to be alert and protective of their family, making great watchdogs.
This mix tends to be fun-loving, friendly dogs. TerriPoos are affectionate and devoted to their family, getting along well with children and other pets. These are companion animals who will not like to be alone for long periods. TerriPoos are entertaining and mischevious. They are agile as well as smart, taking well to all kinds of dog sports.

The life expectancy of a Terripoo is 12 to 16 years.
Size & Activity Level
A Terripoo size can vary from 7 to 15 pounds. Mixes with Toy Poodle will be smaller than those with Miniature Poodles. They have a moderate activity level and can use a few short walks a day along with time to romp and play in the yard.
Care & Grooming
Straight, curly, short, long. The Terripoo coat can be anywhere in between. Whatever the coat looks like, it should be very low shedding and low dander. Grooming needs will vary determined by coat type. The curlier coats will require more brushing to avoid matting, especially behind the ears and under the legs.
