The Pomsky is a designer mix combining the small breed Pomeranian with the large breed Siberian Husky. This size difference requires artificial insemination with the female of the breeding pair to be the Husky to ease pregnancy and delivery. Due to the extreme differences in these two breeds, it is hard to generalize size. Ideally, he will have Husky looks with Pomeranian size.
Self-assured and smart, this mix is protective of his family and makes great guard dogs. Both breeds tend to be stubborn and headstrong, so start training as early as possible.
